Controlguru.com was founded in 2006 by Douglas Cooper.  Dr. Cooper is on faculty at the University of Connecticut where he also heads the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Department.  Among the many honors awarded to Dr. Cooper, he is a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and a member of the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering.  Control Station, Inc. acquired the Controlguru.com site in 2011.  Control Station is a global supplier of process control solutions based in Connecticut, USA.
